About Me
I am currently a research fellow at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the University of Melbourne with Prof. Antoinette Tordesillas. Before this I received my Ph.D in computer science at the CIS department, University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Prof. James Bailey, Dr. Sarah M. Erfani and Dr. Vinh Nguyen.
Prior to start my Ph.D, I received my Master degree in Distributed Computing from the University of Melbourne in 2014, and my Bachelor of Engineering degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2012.
I work in the area of data mining and machine learning. My Ph.D study specifically focuses on tensor factorization approaches for big data. Currently I'm working on applying data mining techniques on real-world complex systems from material science and earth science.
